Three awards will be presented during the congress.

The Nicola Foundation Award (1500 Euros) will be given to the best research paper with the principal author under 45 years of age. Full text copy (figures and table include) of the research paper should be submitted in MS Word .doc or PDF format to the congress secreteriat no later than October 27, 2008. There will also be awards for the "EFOST Best Oral Presentation" (1000 Euros) and "EFOST Best Poster" (500 Euros).
