Dear colleagues,

The 5th Meeting of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedic Sports Traumatology (EFOST) will be held between November 26-30 2008, in Antalya, Turkey. Experts from North America, Europe and Asia will meet to exchange ideas and discuss relevant aspects of sports traumatology. Orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians, physiotherapists, team doctors from all over the world will convene for a 3 day intense scientific program. In addition to current and controversial topics concerning the prevention and treatment of musculo-skeletal injuries, new topics such as extreme sports and Formula 1 will also be discussed. Symposia, lectures, instructional courses and industry workshops will take place and ample time will be allocated to free papers. More than 10 National Associations will be able to organize symposia on their preferred topics.

The meeting venue is the Antalya Sheraton Hotel, with excellent congress facilities, situated in the heart of the Mediterranean coast known as the “Turkish Riviera”. Participants will also have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the charms of the Mediterranean coast.
